Lives — three strikes, then the hero is gone

What I checked
I took the three-life rule from the wiki Battle Basics page and from the beginner notes. I have not died on purpose in a live server to photograph the game-over text.
What the notes agree on
- Each hero has three lives.
- Losing a fight removes one life.
- At zero the hero is permanently dead.
- Lineage ranks remain.
- Codes such as the reported 0y0 can grant a Life. If you are already full, 16bitworld says it goes to the Inbox.
- The Goblin Merchant sells a Robux restore. I do not have the price.
- Arena losses do not remove a life.
Questions
What happens if you lose all your lives?
The hero is gone. Lineage ranks stay. I do not have a screenshot of the exact popup.
How do I get more lives?
Reported codes and a Robux restore at the Goblin Merchant. I have not found a repeatable farm.
